Camera techniques in the extract:

In the extract there was many close up shots, but one in particular was when a man was sat in an ambulance with blood and gas masks on. I think that a close up shot was used at this point to show more detail, and also the characters emotions and feelings. It also lets the audience focus on just the one character and what is happening to him.


The was also a handheld movement in the extract when a man falls down a flight of stairs. I think that this type of movement was used to create realism in the part of the extract, and also to shock the audience, and to create anxiousness and urgency.


A high angle shot was used when the man was laying on the floor after collapsing. This type of shot was used to show that the character is now vulnerable, and it also makes the accident seen more dramatic.
