Genre Conventions: Inbetweeners

Sub-genre:
Comedy/sitcom which means its hybrid.

The conventions of the sub-genre:

Characters: A group of teenage boys are the main characters.
Narrative: The group of boys go to school together its about what they do in and outside of school for example going out to a night club.
Familiar settings: Most of the episodes are based in the school, but some scenes show when the characters go out or are at home.
Dialouge: The characters talk like fairly average teenages, one of the characters tries to speak like a gangster at point.
