What is happening Visually?
- A girl who looks like shes on a mission is a cave area is armed with guns, trying to receive something on top of this rock. As she sneakly walks to retreive this object a msive robot makes this very difficult by trying to catch her. We see a close up on the robots mind saying 'kill lara croft'. If i was to see this clip with no sound i think it would become very boring, as there no exiting sounds to go with all the fighting thats happening.
How would you describe the sound?
- The music going with this clip is always upbeat either a slow pop or a peice of music made to go with a secret mission. The pace of that is slow beats. The Diagetic sounds were the gunshots and the robot noises. The non-diagetic sounds were her footsteps and her heavy breathing.
What is the overall effect?
- The sound reflects well with what is being shown on the screen, as the whole atmosphere is fast,eager,quick movements. So the music is fast drum and bass and slow. When the music is combined it makes the whole secret mission/agent experience fit together it shows build ups. There parell sounds, the music is almost incedental as whilst watching the programme you dont listen to the music you jsut almost know its supposed to be there as it fits so well.
