WATERLOO ROAD
This clip shows a young boy who is confused with his sexuality. He thinks he has the personality of a girl but the body of a boy and this clip shows how he trys and deals with the situation after getting bullied for it.
The programme shows that his sexuality choice is wrong by showing him getting bullied for being different. However, he brings this on himself when he gets caught in the girls changing room. Although, at the end, we find that it is ok to be different in many ways and it doesnt matter what anybody else thinks of who you are, as long as you are happy with your choice of lifestyle.
The programme does conform to stereotypes because there are some people in real life who get bullied for being different. Most people don't agree with it and tend to bully those who are in a situation like this. Personally, it is quite good that they show this and how to deal with the situation because there could be many people could be confused and not sure what to do about it.
