CASUALTY ANALYSIS!

Write down all the camera techniques of which you recognise in the extract, remember shot,angle,movement and position.
-Close up, Extreme close up
-Pan
-Reaction shot
-Two tone shot
-Tilt
-Medium shot
-Long shot, Ariel shot
-Over the shoulder, Handheld
-Point of view

Choose three out of your list and produce a brief analysis by using the TEA forumla. For example, if you have discovered there is a close up, then produce the evidence by telling us where in the extract was a close up. Then finally, add your analysis by explaing why you think that camera technique has been used in that particular way.


-Two tone shot- This is used when there are 2 characters in the same shot, this could suggest that there maybe the posibility of a relationship between the 2 characters involved. There is an example of this when the 2 men are looking through the shop window at the clothes.


-Handheld-This is mainly used in horror movies, used to show when a character is running away. It shows realism in the programme and makes the audience feel the experiance and feel more involved. This can be used when Eli is talking to the group of drunken women, because the way the camera shakes can be used to show the drunken womens state of mind.

-Pan-This is used to look from one side of the scene to the other in a complete shot. This can be used when someone is running or to just let the audience get a better understanding of the scenery around them.
